3D Cover ArtYour Character, Modelled and Lit From Scratch
For a 3D cover we build you as a character inside a three-dimensional cartoon world — modelled, textured, posed and lit from scratch, then dropped into a scene made for your release.

How this style works
The model is yours, and it pays off later
Modelling the character is the most expensive step in 3D cover and video production. The upside is that it only has to happen once. On request we keep your character model on file, so every following cover or video costs less — the modelling is already done and we go straight to the scene.
Why 3D takes longer
3D runs through more stages than a flat cover: model, texture, rig, pose, scene, lighting, render, post. That is why a 3D order sits above the standard turnaround. If your release date is tight, say so at the start and we plan around it.
How to prepare
Send three photos of your face from different angles — front, three-quarter and profile. Phone shots are fine as long as the face is sharp and evenly lit. The sharper your face in frame, the closer the model lands to you.
Questions
- Can the same character be reused for a video?
- Yes — that is the main reason to keep the model. Once the character exists, motion and video work reuse it instead of starting over.
- Do I need professional photos for 3D?
- No. Three clear phone photos from different angles are enough.
